How To Live Your Best Life
What does it mean to live your best life? This “best life” may look different for everyone, but it could mean feeling happy, content, fulfilled, and connected to something bigger than yourself.
It may also mean having a career you love, a strong network of friends and family, and a sense of purpose in your life.
Here are a few tips on creating the best life for you.
Know Yourself
What makes you happy? What are your core values? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Once you know yourself better, you can start to make choices that align with your values and goals.
Set Goals
What do you want to achieve in your life?
Having specific goals will help you stay motivated and on track. Break down your goals into smaller steps so they feel more attainable.
Take Risks
Stepping outside your comfort zone can be scary, but it’s often the only way to grow and experience new things.
Quit that 9–5 job, take a last-minute trip to wherever the wind takes you, or move in with your partner. Don’t be afraid to take risks in your career, relationships, and personal life.
Be Grateful
Take some time each day to appreciate the good things in your life. This could be anything from your health and family to your job and home. Gratitude can help you focus on the positive and make you happier overall.
My favorite way to do this is to fill up the 5-minute journal, which takes a few minutes each day to list down what you’re grateful for and what affirmations you want to manifest into your life.

Help Others
One of the best ways to feel good about yourself is to help others. Volunteer your time, donate to charity, or simply be kind to those around you. Helping others can make you feel more connected and fulfilled.
For donating to charity, I started by going through my entire closet and donating anything that didn’t serve me any purpose anymore. This way, you can reset your wardrobe while helping those in need.
Take Care of Yourself
Make sure you’re getting enough sleep, eating healthy food, and exercising regularly. Taking care of your physical and mental health is essential for living your best life.
Taking care of yourself doesn’t always have to be high maintenance or expensive. For me, it could be as simple as washing your hair, or eating a meal on time.
Live in the Present Moment
It’s easy to get caught up in the past or the future, but it’s also important to remember to live in the now. When you’re present, you’re more likely to appreciate the good things in your life and be less stressed.
Especially with your mobile phones and social media, it’s so easy to just scroll and forget what’s in front of us. So put down your phone, even just for a moment, and let it all sink in.
Be Kind to Yourself
Everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days. If you get that reference, I’m proud of you. Kidding aside, everyone makes mistakes, and don’t be too hard on yourself when you do. Learn to forgive yourself and move on.
Believe in Yourself
You have the power to create the life you want. Believe in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals and inch closer to your dream life.
By (loosely) following these tips, you can start living a life that’s happier, healthier, and more fulfilling.
Living your best life isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely worth it.
You should try it sometime.
